"My husbands medical for his HGV fittnes to drive is due .he tried to book an appointment and was offered 1 in 3 weeks.he had no choice but to accept with hope he could get info to DVLA before licance expires.just a couple of days ago he was contacted by surgery to be told there was to be no dr and therefore his appointment was cancelled.he was offered an appointmet AFTER his licence was due to expire.He did complain but was told there was nothing they could do.he asked for a copy of his medical records to go somewere else as he found a walk in dr to do it.again they said it would be 3 weeks and countless forms to fill in.SO now his licance will lapse so he cant work till its done and he has to pay them for the medical.ABSOLUTLY APPALLED"

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Peter Kipgen

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?

Dr Cat Tuson graduated from Warwick University in 2007 and joined the Practice in 2013 having completed her GP training in the North East of England. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and joint injections and also in women’s health.
