"I joined this surgery 8 years ago and the waiting times, queues and service was very acceptable. Over time they took on many more clients and these aspects just became dreadful. The continuous change of doctors and the waiting time for your own doctor is so long that I've seen my own doctor once in the past year. I haven't seen my previous doctor at all because he changed surgeries before I ever met him. I've once asked for an appointment, that didn't require immediate attention, and I had to wait 3 weeks to be able to see my own doctor. When I placed a (sarcastic) comment on the telephone: "I'm either cured or dead in 3 weeks" I got attended that the persons that take the call do not have to accept abuse. Further, the doctors that are there are well qualified and are attentive to situations and personal situations but lack the time to be able to give a reasonable diagnosis and are forced to cut visits short because of immense work pressure and an overdose of clients that need to be attended. The receptionists need a serious retraining to be able to stand behind the counter of a surgery as they think they can diagnose patients over the telephone and at the counter with a persons clothes on."
