"I have been registered with the practice for over 12 years now, and really cannot fault any aspect of the practice. I have several medical conditions and attend appts with GP and nursing staff more often than I would wish to: I have always been treated with dignity and respect, and am so grateful for the ongoing support I receive.
When I have had to attend an appt, I have never been made to feel as though I am wasting time/attention-seeking/malingering, and this has been much appreciated, and confirms my confidence in this small rural practice.
The GPs are understanding, approachable and reassuring, and I am confident that any of the GPs I see will be able to help me in the most appropriate, and consistent, way.
The reception staff are warm, professional and friendly, and have always been able to deal with any queries/requests in the most helpful manner. The stereo-typical oppositional receptionist will not be found here, and I have always been treated with warmth and respect.
Having a supportive and forward-thinking practice like Ashley is a huge asset to the community. Not being made to feel like a number, or target, means that I am confident that any medical issue or request will be dealt with in the most appropriate manner.
Nursing staff are professional and knowledgeable, and I am always treated with warmth and understanding.
I really could go on and on about the great 'service' I receive, and how positively it has impacted on my wellbeing: suffice to say that this practice is a credit to the NHS and our community. At a time when financial constraints are having such an impact on all levels of care within the NHS, I appreciate everything the practice has done for me, and dread to think of the financial cost I have inflicted upon them!
In summary, this practice delivers a wonderful service to the community: I for one would be in a much poorer state of health, both physically and emotionally, if I had not received the timely support that I have had from the practice. For this I am truly grateful."
