"I really appreciate head doctor and other staff members except the one mentioned above.

I had called the surgery to raise a concern today 15 Feb that my medication (Atorvastation and Sukkarto) had got rejected two times (one requested on 9Feb and other one requested on 12Feb) as per shown in my patient access app, which a matter of worry to me as I am diabetic and this had never happened in any of my previous surgery. My call was picked up by a particular lady. She told me I have to speak with the doc at 11:45am which I agreed for. She called me back again and said that my request was rejected because I have been requesting the medications again and again and rudely told me that I cannot do that. I told her nicely that in first and second call that I had requested the second time because it was rejected earlier and I already spoke with one of your colleague on reception about this (another lady who is a very soft spoken staff member and nice) and she told me that it has gone for approva. But my app still showed rejected second time and I was concerned as I am running out. She again rudely spoke with me and told me you cannot request again and again and said thank you and she hung up on me. You can check the phone records and if required I can also provide the snapshot of my medication rejection. Her approach and tone was rude. I have never had such experience with any NHS staff till now.

Since I was not happy with the call I called back again and requested a this lady for her name. I did inform her that I would like to put a complaint about her behaviour and that she should think before talking in this manner and it's not good. Patients call for concerns and need to be treated properly and respectfully. She rude commented on this to me by saying that rather she will put a complaint about me. I do not understand the whole point of an NHS staff talking in that manner with a patient ringing up for addressing the concern. We are tax paying residents of this country and we respect NHS staff members and their efforts. However this kind of behaviour is not acceptable. I hope the doctor or someone from the staff will look into this matter.
