"Iâve just had a very unhelpful phone call after calling prescription switch line querying whether my sons prescription would be ready today. I explained that the original prescription came from Southend Hospital but we had been left short on the course so I had requested a prescription yday from Audley mills (as directed by the hospital) to complete the course and that my son needed the meds by the next day and therefore I needed to establish whether the dr had agreed to write one for him. Rather than giving me the simple info I needed the staff member very bluntly advised that there was no way of knowing what the dr would or wouldnât write up. When I asked how I could find out I was directed to call the receptionist. Very aware that I wasnât going to get anything helpful from this member of staff, judging by the indifferent attitude, I then called reception explaining the situation again, and thankfully the receptionist clarified that the dr wouldnât be in until 1pm, so if I called back after 2 then Iâd know whether they had agreed to do the prescription or not. Why this simple information couldnât have been explained to me on my first phone call I donât know. Shows complete disinterest."
