"Please define what this means... ?
If was urgent, or an emergency appointment I would skip up to A/E.
The clue is in the name, "General Practioner" ... I emphasis the word general.
If I had a rash on my skin, would I need an urgent / emergency appointment ?
If I had a bad back, would I need an urgent / emergency appointment ?
Who is the gatekeeper on this ? the receptionist, which is quite unfair on them and also on someone trying to get an appointment.
The simple option is to lie, yes, it's urgent / emergency.
Being offered an appointment 2 weeks ahead is ridiculous.
Good to able to comment on the practice, but what action is likely to be taken; none.
Best wishes.
