"My answers to the above should be enough indication of how this surgery is run absolutely awful place unless you have time to spend waiting to get through to them all day then you have no chance and when you do they have no appointments ever!!! God forbid you need an urgent appointment I was given one the other day then to be called back to say sorry we have to give it to someone with more urgent needs!! Something needs to be done about this place i did get an appointment made online had to wait 2 weeks for the doctor to then ask me what do I think is wrong with me?? Then forgot my blood test form which I then had to go back to collect and queue up whilst the receptionist is on the phone for 10 minutes!!!"

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?

Dr Catherine Tuson

Dr Cat Tuson graduated from Warwick University in 2007 and joined the Practice in 2013 having completed her GP training in the North East of England. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and joint injections and also in women’s health.
