"It is nigh on impossible to get an appointment if you happen to be a working taxpayer. Staff say the doctors do not allow them to book ahead and if you can't sit for as long as it takes from 8.30am to try and get through you will NOT be treated.
If you pass the telephone lottery you almost certainly see someone you have never seen before and who knows nothing about you. I cannot believe they are still accepting patients- they are clearly struggling to service their current patient base.
I once asked why I used to have regular blood tests etc to monitor my condition which they described as "higher risk" But I've had none over the last couple of years: all I am is older and on the same drugs. The (inevitably) very young doctor had no answer.
The doctors do their best as clinicians (thought they do seem to use Google a lot!?) but the practice is not set up for the benefit of patients's needs and circumstances."
