"Whilst i have no complaint about the services on offer, the congeniality of General Staff and Doctors, the waiting times to see a doctor are bordering impossible.
I am waiting to have an angiogram and further heart surgery. A copy of a letter from cardiologist explaining in medical terms what the underlying problem is with my heart was sent to my GP. I do not understand the medical speak so booked an appointment to discuss this with my GP, but I'm told I cannot see my GP for 4 weeks. No offer of an alternative arrangement such as a telephone call.
In the meantime I've had my appointment through for my angiography - the same date as my GP appointment - still 14 days away.
I fully understand that services are underfunded and stretched and there are folk a lot worse off than I, but this getting beyond tolerable."
