"Suffering for the last few months with severe pain on shoulder abd wrists, every time I try to make an appointment with my doctor it is at least 2 weeks wait. I was sent to Witney Hub for physio, not impressed with level of service. I then had 2 sessions with private physio who gave thorough examination, tests and exercises. He suggested going to doctors for xray which I didon't. Xray results came back ok. I returned to private physio who said doctors need to refer me to Nuffield Orthopedic Hospital . Booked appointment with doctor to request this, doctor was very condescending when I told him about the private physio, rather than commend my actions for trying to help my condition he seemed to want to ignore advice I had been given. He had referred me to nhs clinic at Deer Park I cannot get an appointment until April. I am still in severe pain cannot sleep or fully function what worries me more is when I look at the reviews about Deer Park all seem to say it is a waste of time and staff not being able to help.I cannot continue like this . I am sure the doctors would react quicker and refer themselves to the Nuffield. I am a strong believer on the NHS but feel lately I am only being given lip service and a tick in the box for meeting target objectives on appointments."

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Peter Kipgen

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

Dr Philip Monnery qualified from ST George’s Hospital Medical School in 1991, Undertaking a career in the Royal Air force. Initially undertaking surgical training and specialising in Ear, Nose and Throat he became a consultant in the Military in 2006. A change in life goals meant a change to general practice in 2009. He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?

Dr Catherine Tuson

Qualifications - BSc, MBChB, MRCGP

Dr Cat Tuson graduated from Warwick University in 2007 and joined the Practice in 2013 having completed her GP training in the North East of England. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and joint injections and also in women’s health.
