"Iâm not one to write reviews of any sort, but in this case felt it necessary to feedback my honest opinion of the excellent service I received from Brownlow Health.
This was my first time visiting Brownlow Health (RopeWalks surgery), after finally registering after 5 years of living in Liverpool. I have only ever been to see a doctor in my home town in Lancashire, and these visits I could count on one hand. I probably have a slight irrational fear of visiting the doctors due to potential outcomes or fear of wasting valuable time of the doctors.
So as you can imagine I was extremely nervous about visiting the practice. I had also heard a number of horror stories about doctors (not at this practice, but in general) responding negatively towards young people and students, and was not looking forward to my visit.
However, I can safely say that my experience was second to none. From the (extremely) friendly, professional and polite reception staff (who on the day were dealing with a computer system crash - and handling it very well for that matter), the excellent service provided by the joint Cohenâs pharmacy members of staff, to the nicest doctor I have ever been seen by.
Even though the whole experience at this practice was way beyond my expectations, I have to say that this review has been brought on entirely by the Doctor I received, and believed she needed to be recognised in some small way for the way she made me feel. She was very warm in welcoming me into her room, gave me a warm introduction, and extremely polite in her manner; I felt like she was truly concerned for me in that moment, and attentive to anything I had to say or ask. She was thorough in her treatment of me and nothing seemed too much for her, despite the computer system failure at the time, she was adamnet she could get everything I needed done for me, and I felt more at ease than I could have imagined.
So again, I just want to say Thankyou to all the staff for making my experience as easy as possible, and for dispelling the preconceptions of what my visit would entail. I truely appreciate it."
