"I am disgusted that suddenly after my mother in-law has attended this surgery most of her adult life.(she is now 90) . We have been told that she a lady with severe dementia and mobility problems can no longer get a doctor from this surgery to come to her address in an emergency. We have been told she can still see a doctor at the surgery but as her walking becomes worse we are left struggling. With the severity of her dementia it is very difficult for her to understand changes. The doctor she usually has seen has retired . Now we are told that to actually get full G P cover we must now try to find her a totally different Surgery. All of which she will not understand. As if looking after this lady is not stressful enough we are now faced with this problem. I cannot understand after all these years you can suddenly change your catchment area and leave a very vulnerable lady in this situation and a family trying to cope"
