"The opening hours of this surgery are ridiculous and mean that if you need to see a nurse and canât get there for 5.20 (week days and mornings only on a Friday ) then you wonât ever be able to make an appointment. I tried recently and they just couldnât help me. I have a job and canât take time off for appointments, so this lack of flexibility is a total barrier for me.
My husband had the same problem and so couldnât access the flu jab. They did Saturday appointments last year, but donât offer them any more.
Finally, my mum took my daughter for her jabs. When I booked I told the receptionist it would be my mum and she said that was fine. After waiting for 30 minutes for her appointment the nurse refused the jabs without the consent form. We had not been informed of this and had never been asked for it in the same situation with my other child! I then had to wait a further 2 weeks for a new appointment. Poor service and communication. I wish I could change doctors, but that just isnât possible where I live."
