"The booking system needs to be seriously looked at. As previous users have said, its almost impossible to get through on a morning at 8am when people who work are commuting.
Today it took 18 calls at 8am before i got through to be the 10th caller and 15 mins on the phone. I did get an appointment and a prescription, which was incorrect and the pharmacy (the one attached to the surgery was shut before 9am) would not dispense. I have then spent another 30 mins on the phone (my lunch) to request the prescription to be re-issued correctly, promised a call back and 4 hours later nothing and I am on call again - no call back received!
You cant pre book an appointment for a suitable time and that just doesn't work for people who work full time and a 40 mile plus round trip to and from work. It is a shame as most of the GPs are fantastic (if you can get to see the one that you want) and seriously thinking its time to move after 20+ years at the surgery."
