"I have never been so appalled at the way I've been treated. The receptionists are snooty and rude, getting shirty with me because I didn't call the 'right line' when they could have just calmly put me through to the right option. I have been seriously unwell (repeated shingles due to an unknown issue with my immune system), and yet I am the one who is having to call up for test results rather than them calling me to tell me. It's just shocking.
And still I'm no further to a conclusion on my health because the doctors keep carrying out the same tests and putting me on the same course of antibiotics, despite the fact that they aren't working. Aren't the NHS spending loads of money on a campaign that says it's bad for your health if you keep taking antibiotics? It's terrifying how little the doctors seem to care or understand what my issue is. But the fact that I'm a very healthy 27 year old and have now had shingles twice in the last six weeks shows there is cause for concern -- but the doctors could not care less.
All in all, I wish I'd never moved to the area. My doctor surgery in Cookham served me well for 26 years. I can't believe how much difference a few miles can make."
