"On Monday 28th January 2019 I Tried by phone about 2.50pm to change an appointment for 21st Feb to something earlier , regarding a letter received from suirgery to make appt to see doctor. I was told that I had the earliest appt. I explained that I have had a heart valve replacement and that I am worried about my Blood Pressure. She told me to come up and use the BP machine I explained that I had already done that on the previous Thursday and because the readings were very high I had handed them into reception. I assume as the letter arrived two days later on the Saturday it was in response to these readings. She said abruptly that it is a general letter for a routine appt. I asked if I could see someone else and she said No. I asked if I could go anywhere else she again said No I said are you sure and she there was Nothing. I thought that I could have seen a nurse or nurse practitioner because Iâm so worried about my BP She just sarcastically said âHave a good dayâ and put the phone down on me. Her attitude was ignorant and very rude.
I have been with this practice since the 1960s and it was a brilliant practice.
It takes a lot for me to complain but I feel that this justified."
