"I have lived in Chobham for nearly 3 years and this was the first time I had the need to use the surgery. I try to avoid going to the doctors at all costs and indeed taking pills, but I knew I was beaten this time....and going on a Pacific holiday in less than a week!
I saw a particular doctor, I hope her name remains in this report, as she treated me with the utmost respect and showed genuine concern for my condition. I had a raging temperature of 40.5 and felt dreadful. Nothing was too much trouble, she said she was amazed I was still standing and gave me valuable advice, as well as starting me on the correct course of antibiotics, which in fact, was not that straight forward! We had a follow up conversation in the middle of surgery a few days later and again, it was not rushed, but showed a real human touch.
I can only say a huge ' than you' to the ladies on reception and my doctor for taking me seriously, as now I can enjoy my holiday, feeling well and happy!
Would like to say, see you soon, but hopefully not!!"
