"I have been taking a medicine of 27 years that requires regular blood testing and the quantity of my prescription was cut without my consultation.
It is a medicine taht I'll take for life and the quantity allowed flexibility to ensure I could get an appointment for bloods around a busy work schedule.
I did complain and received a whitewash letter today citing national guidelines which are relevant buy not even they would risk a patient being without therapy .
Avoid at all costs unless you just want to be a number. I have been a health care professional myself for twenty years and this surgery has a lot to learn in its patient focus and communications. The only good thing I will say is the front of hours reception staff are a credit to the surgery and have always been polite ......it's the patient focus and consideration that's seriusly out of range here ."
