"After calling the surgery this morning, needing to speak to the doctor about my 1 year olds eczema cream, The receptionist refused to put me on triage and I was told I had to go to the surgery to fill out a repeat prescription form, as I know from previous experience these can take a few days. I told her I just needed the doctor to OK the prescription for the pharmacy, (something I have done many times over the phone) yet she was rude and kept repeating the same thing over and over... I told her my sons eczema was very bad and had flared up after some time, also wasn't able to get to the surgery, and was told I shouldn't have waited so long to re order it.. (he hasn't had it for months) after all that she PUT THE PHONE down on me and I was left in tears and a child in pain. I will be changing Doctors even though the GPs themselves are usually amazing. its a shame u have to deal with the rudeness from someone who doesn't know the situation, or who is even trained in the situation."
