"Wanted to leave review after a very trying week with this drs - then spotted they have 2 of these nhs sites ??
Right came for appointment didnt show up up on sign in so had to wait to speak to reception - 2 people in front of me waiting and they were kept waiting while the woman on reception carried on doing, she was typing - no eye contact to any of us and no curtesy or sorry to keep you waiting so we stood - i am bad one my legs and the woman first in queue looked to be having trouble standing - waiting.
Phone ringing no one there xcept the one typing - ring ring ring tot ignored the call why have 1 person typoing up reports and not answering phone or seeing to patients waiting at desk??
so she eventually talks to lady at front of queue who looked visably upset - what i heard was they had messed up her meds then blamed her. anyhoo this lady insisted she didnt get her meds and had been left without important medication - l heard the receptionist get pretty stern with the lady who was getiting more upset - the receptionist says erm oh we will do your med but wont be ready for 48 hrs - i spoke to this lady in the chemist after i was seen and this isnt the first time they have not done her meds and she has been without they left her upset as they tried to blame her for the mix up.
Back to queue lady in front was asking about a cream for her child and she was abruplty told it was at chemist - the woman said she had been and it wasnt there - receptionist again very abrupt - what is going on here ?? people being left with out life saving meds and people being messed about - i eventually got to desk to find i wasnt even on the list for an appointment - how is this possible - something needs doing about this place - reception is awful and the standards have slipped. I have to agree with other reviews appointment by phone are like gold dust and there is a lack of communication between drs.patients and reception - one suggestion - have 2 on reception at least then people would nt be made ot wait so long and calls would be answered."
