"On the 07/02/2019 I have called the reception to request an appointment. I spoke to a particular person at 10:03 and I was advised to give them a call on the 08/02/2019 at 9:30 because they have an appointment at 3:30. In the morning surprise, nothing available plus the other receptionist laughed on me and hang up the phone 2 times. I popped in the surgery at 11:38 and I been told I have to re-register as I do not appear as a patient in the system.
I explained I am sick from last Sunday and my head and chest hurts and I really have to see a particular doctor.
Another lady got involved into the conversation which was the same manner RUD and told me I have to listen to her.
I requested to see if my son is still a patient- the answer was YES. After this answer my question wasâ how can my son to be a patient and me no when we are leaving into the same propertyâ.
CONCLUSION someone did a mistake and now I have to pay for it.
I will never recommend this place and if will be possible I will give them -10 stars."

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?

Dr Catherine Tuson

Qualifications - BSc, MBChB, MRCGP

Dr Cat Tuson graduated from Warwick University in 2007 and joined the Practice in 2013 having completed her GP training in the North East of England. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and joint injections and also in women’s health.
