"Since my wife died nearly 2 years ago I have not been able to get a good nights sleep and this has affected my eating also. Round about 9 months ago I saw a doctor and told her of my problem sleeping and asked if I could have a course of sleeping tablets to help me get back into a normal routine sleeping, her response was " We do not give sleeping tablets we offer counselling, that is not what I need I need sleep and food to help me function instead of being a zombie. I have just been to the chemist to pick up my heart medication and one of the staff I haven't seen for a while told me I'm yellow and don't look well at all and should see a doctor, after my last experience and being refused the help I I wanted I have no faith in the doctors."

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?

Dr Cat Tuson graduated from Warwick University in 2007 and joined the Practice in 2013 having completed her GP training in the North East of England. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and joint injections and also in women’s health.
