Unfortunately, the same cannot be said to the midwife service.
My initial meeting with midwife was with a student (unsupervised by qualified midwife, nor was I re-reviewed by one). I trusted the student to give accurate information as I am all for students learning. However I was misinformed of information given at that appointment - this was revealed at my second appointment - I was informed that I should have had my blood tests taken prior to this appointment NOT to bring the documents to ask when needed and if it could be done at UHCW where I work.
I am disappointment with the midwife service so far especially as this is my first pregnancy and am clueless as to how the pregnancy follow up/workup is like."
