"On a number of occasions there has been poor communication. I put in a prescription for a repeat early as i was going away i clearly marked on there basic request form this information. When my brother called to collect he was told it was not done due to it being early .Upon being told i rang up and was told the same , I explained that i had provided the information on there request form. I was told i hadn't provided the date I was going away to which i replied it does not ask for this information. I then asked why the surgery could not ring and leave a message stating the prescription was not available as the expense of numerous return trips to surgery was an accumulative extra AVOIDABLE expense.
The nonchanlant attitude of the person i spoke too was not what you expect from a person being asked relevant questions."

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?

Dr Catherine Tuson

Dr Cat Tuson graduated from Warwick University in 2007 and joined the Practice in 2013 having completed her GP training in the North East of England. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and joint injections and also in women’s health.
