"I received a call on the 25th May from the diabetic nurse requesting a urine sample, told to drop it off next day.
Dropped it off around 10.30 as requested. At 10.59 I received a txt stating my appointment that afternoon was with the nurse at 1.40pm, arrived a spoke to receptionist and was told to take a seat. After an hour and ten minutes wait I went to the desk, showed another person the txt to be informed it was a time to drop the sample off not an appointment. It clearly states an appointment and I was booked in.
Question- why send a text stating an appointment time & with whom when it was just to drop the sample off, why not state it was just for that purpose and why send the txt 20mins after the sample was delivered.
If one member of staff booked me in on arrival and another says something else, there is a need for them to be singing of the same sheet.
Time wasted because of someone's incompetence."
