"it took me a huge amount of courage and stress to access a gp.. Now Iâm left wishing I hadnât bothered. Iâve been sent an email saying that the nhs would not treat the growths on my fingers because the gp says âthey donât look like cancerâ. He didnât even look at them with a light or magnifier. He didnât take a sample from them or anything. They itch, they go red, they get bigger and cause pressure on the nail bed, but if they donât âlook like cancerâ they arenât worth treating!
All this does is stops me turning to a doctor. So the anxiety, depression, anorexia, self harm, BPD, will now NOT be talked about with a gp because they just donât really care."
