"I am a teacher so am fairly limited when I can get in to book an appointment - I can't attend at 8am as already at school.
Can hardly ever get through when try to phone, and regularly no appointments left by time I do get through. I am diabetic,with other health issues as well, so occasionally need to see a doctor fairly urgently. Never offer chance to pre-book an appointment for next day - "you'll have to ring tomorrow" - can book on-line but 2-3 weeks away. Blood tests are mornings only and no weekends so would have to take time off work, so have had to visit the Infirmary to get spot checks done.
I find reception/telephone staff quite rude and condescending and appear to think they have some sort of medical qualifications. I've been told that no issues when I've rung about some tests, then had a letter a week later saying I need to see a Doctor!!
I'm afraid i see a big deterioration in service at Carcroft in last year or so"
