"Extremely difficult to get a appointment on the day or same week and always on hold over the phone average waiting time 5 to 10min. They need more staff to answer the phone. Once i do get through im always told there's no apoinments or theres one availible in 2 or even 3 weeks time. Receptions are quite rude one women in particular Which I try to avoid when making an appointment.
The only Time I felt that someone was helpful was when I called up and believe he is a new receptionist as never heard he's voice before, answered the phone after a long wait. He was helpful and friendly. I understand that it's a busy GP but sometimes I feel like I'm told to just go elsewhere when I'm a patient of the pratice. The reception apologies for the long time i was on hold, listen to my issue and gave me advice what to do in the mean times as there was no appointments again.
Informed me if i really needed to see a dr, to call 8am in the morning the next day or to come in at that time. He also said that they have telephone consolation to speak to a dr which i never that they have this option which is a good. Really needed to see a Dr on the day but I can see he was trying to help at least which I i do apreciate.
The Dr's i saw are quite nice gave me a prescription and told to to see her again if I have not improved. I'm not looking forward to making anther apointment hopefully I wont need to.
This pratice really do need to sought out the long waiting times over the phones, Create a better apontments system. Waiting over 2 weeks to see a dr is just not on. Get more staff to answer the phones."
