"Tried to contact the surgery on a Monday morning for my 5 year child. Took 117 times to get through which was recorded on my mobile. At 8.55 spoke to a receptionist who advised me there was no appointments and no telephone appointments, following she said let me check another surgery following by no appointments. I advised her my child needed to be seen he is not well an actually had an asthma attack in the surgery last week. She went on to say wot do I want her to do with no appointments. Due to working in a surgery myself I asked to to speak to the practice manager she told me there was a form about complaints she would not call me just because I could not get an appointment. I fully understand the nhs is under strain but this was for child. 36 years I have been at the surgery and the care is getting worse, the reception staff are rude an not helpful Iâm sure more could of been done due to my nhs experience i would bend over backwards in this situation where I work."
