"I have experience now that the reception staff all do their jobs differently. I am constantly told different things on the telephone, well once a month when I have called for a prescription. I've been told twice my prescription was being sent directly to the pharmacy and it hadn't. Trust me this is highly irritating when you have to stand in their poor queuing system or trying to keep three children behaved.
On my recent visit I had to go back to the surgery after waiting in line in the pharmacy for 30 minutes and the receptionist who i've chosen not to name said her colleague that had spoken to me was new and apologised (fair enough) but this was the third time I had experienced a 'problem' with staff and she continued with 'and you should give us allot more notice in future' telling me off like a child!!!! Are you aware the pharmacy next door also told me I had to allow for at least 3 days for them to process any prescriptions sent directly from the GP. No comment!
On this occasion I had been away and considering the prescription I was collecting, this experience did not make me condition any better!
Infact Id move surgeries if the local GP practice didn't operate between two surgeries, one of which being to far to get too."
