"I've never really had a problem with this surgery until the last couple of years. Things seemed to have gone down hill, i know there's a lot of pressures on the NHS at the moment but a little bit of kindness and understanding wouldn't go a miss! There's been a few things but mainly appointments, telephone manner and the ignorance of the reception staff. There was one particular occasion where by i made an appointment (after being told they don't prebook appointments anymore!!!) and requested a female dr. I phoned on the day to double check the time. I later turned up at the right time to be told there was no appointment made! The receptionist on the desk was unhelpful, didn't apologise once or look into the matter! I was simply palmed off with a duty dr appointment half hour down the line where she couldn't guarantee it would be a female dr. After waiting nearly half hour i was seen, and i felt rushed. I felt like i was a problem, like my needs weren't important. I get told different things all the time, i don't actually know if the surgery do prebook appointments or not. The drs/nurses/hca's are good, the waiting room is welcoming but i feel let down by the reception team and i 9 times out of 10 feel more angry and let down after ive been into the surgery and regret even going there and it shouldnt be like that."
