"Been waiting three weeks to see a certain Doctor (locum), because I was fed up repeating my symptoms to different doctors, and being told my time was up, before treatment. Today, should have had appointment with this doctor at 1450hrs, only to find out that my appointment time had been brought forward several hours, after ringing the surgery to check on my appointment time. I had no previous notification about the change of the appointment, and when I asked to speak to someone in charge of the surgery, I was told that the Practice manager had gone home sick, and no one was in charge. Because I couldn't make the earlier appointment, it was cancelled and was told I had to ring up on the day to make an appointment with the duty doctor ..
Is this really what the NHS is all about now? Its going to be far easier for me just to go down the local hospital and wait,,,, at least i will get some treatment there."
