"Been a patient for 40+ yrs & generally no problems with doctors or receptionists. Getting an appointment can sometimes be difficult but mostly fine & ok I may have too ring next day BUT never taken more than 2days to get appt! If Iâve felt I couldnât wait then Iâve gone to âwalk-in center (& yes Iâm not so young & yes Iâm retired) - even if Iâve had to get a taxi. Thatâs the purpose of such centres!
More recently I have found both doctors to be very helpful & thorough in dealing with my health problems (although I would have liked too know that the practice site no longer has the doctors I am familiar with - found out by accessing this review âthingâ).
Only other problem Iâve had is registering on-line (still not been successful) & I do feel sorry for people who canât use r donât have access too technology as there seems to be more flexibility re getting appointments too suit for those who are technically savvy!
However this isnât just GPâs itâs part of the whole NHS system e.g. Iâve recently got an appointment at my local hospital BUT to do this I had to go through a âcommissioningâ trust via the midlands & Lancashire! Although I understand the logic (centralisation & cost saving) Whatâs that got to do with Merseyside? Again how do people with hearing &/or sight problems cope with all this without help?
Finally I wonder if some of the submitted reviews are actually for Lime Grove as it is on the same site as another practice (same entrance) & I know from dealing with the other practice on my 90yr old motherâs behalf that it is harder to get through etc etc"
