"Everyone knows the difficulties of getting an appointment ?(maybe if the Dr's all worked 5 days a week like us commoners it might be easier to see 1) so wont comment on that, once the phone is answered the problems truly begin, The receptionists or "wanna-be doctors" want to know what's wrong even though they have no medical training and should not be asking, but will insist on you giving them the reason you want to see a Dr, You can tell them anything as when you do see the Dr they will have no idea why you are there! There is no privacy as such at the centre, Reception can be heard even in the waiting room, you can hear all the other "forlorn hope" folk going through the torture you went through to get to see somebody.
The waiting area seems to have some of the seating removed of late but the walls are decorated with a plethora of laminated pieces of paper, keeps an office "bod" in work i suppose.
Once you are called and get to see the Dr your problems have not ended, Certain Dr's don't even look up from the computer screen whilst you are trying to explain what is wrong! The Dr might half listen to you and if you are VERY lucky they may leave the chair and examine you after which they may prescribe something and rush you out the room. Always read the leaflet in the box as they will probably prescribe you something unsuitable for you as they don't check your history or listen very well (take extra care if you are diabetic).
The "God Complex" amongst Dr's and staff at this practice is amazing. This practice is all about money, NOT care. Some of the newer Dr's start off well but soon fall victim to the "sickness" of the practice and stop caring about people.
Do yourself a favour, If you think your problem is serious got to a "walk in" centre of A&E, your life might just depend on it!

Don't bother replying telling me I can call and discuss things with the "Practice Manger" as I'm not sure how good/qualified the bloke is or whether he has any "sway" with the arrogant Doctors."
