"I have a medical condition which i have self managed the best i can for some years. I was a patient of both the doctors who retired early, who were both wonderful. Since then the care i have received is cursory with lack of empathy or understanding. Unfortunately my condition has deteriorated to the extent that i now need medical help on a more frequent basis. Understanding the problems that the practise have faced i have been patient . The practise pharmacist was wonderful and i have used him unfortunately he has now left . i approached the surgery in December to see a dr now that the pharmacist has left, i received a consultants referral and a wheelchair assessment referral. Id heard nothing about the wheelchair assessment and went into surgery 0n 3/1 to be told that wheelchair assessment had left surgery and sent on i was given a phone number for haywood which turned out to be Royal stoke so i phoned the haywood only to be told that the service was outsourced 18 months ago called the service only to be told the assessment had never been sent. on calling the surgery on the 10/1 i was told that they would look for form and get back to me. on 14/1 i tried to call the surgery but the phones were not manned . i phoned secretary and was told that they hadn't had time to look and that Doctor was now on leave. later on today i was called and they have found the form but really a poor show all round. I shall register with a new surgery as soon as possible"
