"visted the surgery on the 20th October.Doc sent me for blood tests & says I will phone you Tomoro on the 21st with results.Waited all day no phone call.Callled in the surgery on my wY home to ask why I hadnât received my results or phone call to be told doc was busy & hadnât had time to look at them.Ive previously had cancer so I was extremely worried.Receptionist says you will have to wait now til Monday the 29th October & have a telephone app & it would be i the morning.12oâclock came went still no phone call.I phoned again they says doc was running late & he would phone.At 3.45 I was ripping my hair out so phoned & spoke to receptionist she says no he hasnât made any calls yet,so I says I canât wait any longer so she told me the results.She says doc will ring you itâs now 5.40 & Iâm still waiting.This is absoulty disgusting service & to put some one thru nearby a week of waiting is unforgivable.Specisally someone whose had Cancer before."

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Peter Kipgen

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

Dr Philip Monnery qualified from ST George’s Hospital Medical School in 1991, Undertaking a career in the Royal Air force. Initially undertaking surgical training and specialising in Ear, Nose and Throat he became a consultant in the Military in 2006. A change in life goals meant a change to general practice in 2009. He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?

Dr Catherine Tuson

Qualifications - BSc, MBChB, MRCGP

Dr Cat Tuson graduated from Warwick University in 2007 and joined the Practice in 2013 having completed her GP training in the North East of England. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and joint injections and also in women’s health.
