"We moved from the Wadhurst GP practice to Nirth Rodge at Hawkhurst as we were finding it more and more difficult to get either particular doctor appointments or nurse appointments. We had been with Wadhurst for over 40 years but in the last few years it has seemed to lack organisation (although when you did see the doctor, they were good). As an older person, I think it is essential to see the same doctor at each appointment.
North Ridge is so much better, planned appointments generally within a week, lovely staff both on reception and medical staff. Much easier to get through on the phone. We are very pleased we moved. We also think having the urgent appointments in the second half of the morning rather than the first is better.
Only one problem ,the surgery does not do electronic prescriptions. But they will post a repeat prescription (we leave saes) so we can fill them in our village (Ticehurst)."
