"Attended with a poorly 2 year old with a high temperature which did not go down with calpol.
The child was not eating and drinking, was irritable with cold hands and feet and a rash on abdomen and legs.
This child is usually very robust and rarely poorly and looked obviously unwell.
The receptionist did try and get a doctor to see the child, but the duty doctor ( Hussain) just advised a trip to the walk in centre. ( Canât fault the treatment there)
I was always under the impression that a caring compassionate doctor would always see a poorly child, particularly one who does not present on a regular basis.
On reflection, if a doctor is so callous as to turn away an obviously ill child, it was probably best that he wasnât seen as would probably have given sub standard treatment.
I would urge anyone registered at this practice to register at a practice where patient care is paramount."
