"Near Impossible to get an appointment ..
The wait to get an appointment is between 4 to 5 weeks . The appointment books are opened in an erratic and irregular way so if you cannot get a convenient appointment you have to call back to book the day you need but they will not tell you when the appointment books are being reopened so you are likely to miss the day you want.
I have managed to get an appointment at last but it took 7 phone calls and I had to hold the line for up to 20 minutes to get through to the receptionist.
The receptionists complained to me how bad the appointment booking system was and what stress it caused them and the patient
This is a system not fit for purpose . It is unsafe and discourages patients seeking advice and treatment.
It is very difficult for working people to get time off to attend the doctor and despite the web site saying they offer evening and weekend appointments I was told these were not available.
The problems I have experienced with the practice relate to the appointment system alone
I have spoken to people who go to other doctors practices and they say they do not have the problems experienced by patients of the Pavilion Family Doctors"
