"The phone system at this place is pathetic. The phone is constantly engaged when trying to phone and book an appointment. It will regularly take 80 - 100 attempts to get through on the phone at 8:30am. This morning we phoned after 9:00 and it still took 57 attempts. You don't go onto a queue, just get an engaged tone and have to dial again. If this were just teething problems for some new system that might be forgivable but it has been this way for at least ten years.
To make matters worse, apparently now you can't even phone up for an appointment in the afternoon until 13:00.
Every time we need to visit this surgery it is a nightmare to get an appointment. I've been going here all my life and it didn't used to be this way. I've told my wife in the past that we'll stick with the surgery as the doctors are good when you see them but I've had enough now, we're leaving. This is a GP partnership run as a business for its owners and it's appalling that they aren't prepared to invest in a decent appointment system. Just feels like greed to me. No other business would retain customers treating them this way."
