"We have lived in the village since 1982 & will never leave. Why? Because of the surgery.
I have had a lot of bad health since then, various problems some serious, some not but I canât speak highly enough of all the staff. On 3 occasions in the past years,1 recently, Iâve needed to see a Dr on the day because of an emergency. The receptionist was amazing, I was crying & shaky, she asked if Iâd like a glass of water & she went in to see the Dr who said heâd see me as soon as he could (he had a full surgery) she asked me to sit in the waiting room & the Dr would call me. In the time I was waiting the surgery manager stopped to talk to me & ask how I was, the receptionist came in to check on me & both the lovely pharmacists (a wonderful phamacy attached to the surgery, how lucky are we?!) came in to ask how I was. Is there anywhere else youâd get that service, I donât think so. In an emergency they will always see you on the day. All the staff are lovely & the surgery manager is very caring & thoughtful & is always there to answer any queries or sort out problems. One of the best & convenient things is that you can pick up a prescription straight away, by the time you say goodbye to the lovely receptionists & walk into the pharmacy & greeted by the equally lovely staff there your prescription is ready!
If you see a nurse they too are very good & will consult a Dr if they think itâs necessary.
They also do a Drâs phone in every morning before the appointments start, I use this for my regular problems & the Dr sorts out medication on the phone or asks to see me if he thinks itâs necessary.
A phlebotomy nurse visits every Wed am which has saved us a trip to a hospital/clinic.
My medication review every year is also very thorough."
