"I want to start by stating that this review is solely aimed at the none clinical side as all doctors and nurses have constantly been fantastic it is just such a shame the administration side of things is so bad and let's it down to the point I had to remove my family for fear of their medical safety.
I have never had to deal with such a disjointed poorly managed part of the NHS. Prescriptions constantly lost at the surgery but the patient was constantly blamed or berated and no apology when a filing mistakes was discovered.
Personal details accessed for personal mail for the sender to be so pedantic that each one had a different title before the recipients name regardless of their age or gender.
Important clinical review from a specialist about a childs illness never reviewed for nearly 4 months it was decided it never arrived or it was lost, again no apologies but patients parents were made to feel at fault even though the patients copy was offered and refused.
Patient diagnosed COPD in 2008, patient only discovered this after leaving this practice, when new practice in 2018 asked to book a yearly COPD review and why had patient not been to one since being diagnosed.
Annual medication review ignored, when pushed had to book a GP appointment to get approved for a blood test taken through a separate nurse appointment then could only get results through another GP appointment even though previous reviews were done via nurse and quick call to receptionist for levels.
It might do the practice well to have some training when it comes to customer fronting and administration as this is obvious by its absence. You can only blame funding shortfalls so many times before it becomes obvious that the record is stuck.
Still can not fault the clinical side though."
