"Absolutely disgusting. I applied for this surgery however wish I never have bothered. Itâs the closest one to me and now have to get transport to a one that treats you with respect. You can never ever get a appointment their. I have rang loads and nothing. They said I need to go to a medical surgery in cramlington however I donât drive and canât get public transport. I applied for Seaton sluice however I havenât been once. I have walked into the surgery crying with bad stomach pains and got turned away without any questions asked. Someone said I could have theirs and the receptionist said no. Absolutely disgusting. Staff at reception is rude. Doctor is rude. I think they only have one doctor working their. Saying online their open at 6 but he leaves at 12 every day. I donât finish work till 2pm so I can never ever get a appointment. Useless. Glad to

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Peter Kipgen

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?

Dr Catherine Tuson

Dr Cat Tuson graduated from Warwick University in 2007 and joined the Practice in 2013 having completed her GP training in the North East of England. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and joint injections and also in women’s health.
