"There seems to be difficulty in prescriptions being signed off. I submitted a script last Friday . Gaviscon and Codydamol 10 mg. today, 8 days later , there is no sign of either. Iâm running v low on the Gaviscon which is a must for my stomach ulcers. The codydamol I only order once a year - for chronic cervical spondolosis - and also now, hip pain. Remember I cannot take anti inflammatory meds because of ulcers. Today , I collected 10 mg Omeprazole - it should have been 20 mg. This is happening frequently. It took me a month to sort out my blood tests for Thyroxine and Statins - I was given blood counts instead. I suspect the problem is the number of locums passing through the work place. I myself have now rang the prescription line and they have deleted the unnecessary meds on my Repeat Script. Eg Glyceron trinitrate spray and 75 mg disp. Aspirin plus the 10 mg Omeprazole from a year ago. So hopefully, the simplification will enable me to receive the correct meds when ordered. Otherwise no complaints ! The Reception Staff are excellent."
