"My blood results were abnormal and was asked to make a telephone appointment with the doctor. It took 4 days to get an appointment which was due to be between 9am and 12pm. I rang at 2.30pm to be told the doctor's clinic had ran over and would still be contacted. Rang back at 4.30 to be told the computers had gone down and doctor would still ring as I was concerned about my blood results and needed medication. No call so rang at 5.35pm to be told computers were still down and I would need to ring the next day to try and get another telephone appointment which I am not guaranteed to get the same day. I asked when the computers went down to be told this was 4.15pm so no excuse to impact my morning appointment call. I am now worried as never visit the doctors and i am still no further forward almost 4 weeks after my first appointment about my symptoms. The surgery needs to have better Comms and ring the patients due for appointments to apologise as some people actually work full time and have to have permission from their employers to have the mobiles out to take the doctors call."
