"The practice has been our family medical centre for just over 10 years now.

The premises at Sidcup Medical Centre is very small in comparison to our previous Dr surgery (we moved across the borough and so had to move Dr's), which was also a house conversion, and is in urgent need of extending or re-jigging to make the best use of the current space. The waiting room is very small and usually full, made worse when people have pushchairs/wheelchairs/walking aids. There are no toys/books for children.

Getting an appointment to see a doctor is very difficult, but you can usually get an appointment to see a nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioners are often running late resulting in a rushed appointment.

All the medical staff (doctors, nurse practitioners and practice nurses) are lovely.

Most of the reception staff are also nice but you do sometimes come across one who is not so nice. The reception staff tend to talk very loud to each other about all sorts of things, including patients and other members of staff and are sat behind a desk in the waiting room so there is no way they could have a private conversation.

Overall, I am happy with the medical side of this service but on the practical side, big improvements need to be made."
