"Nearly everytime I go to this surgery I feel I am unable to give my symptoms in full. I realise doctors are under pressure and that my appointment is only 10 mins so I feel its hepful to go in and give precise and helpful information about the same subject and NOT A LIST. However, in the last two years I have been suffering serious changes with my health and am trying to seek some help but I dread going to see them because they make you feel uncomfortable that you have problems and seem to want to get you out of the door before you even speak. On recent visit I was in the room 2 mins and I was reminded I only had 10 mins becase I was trying to explain very quickly why I had been to the surgery before and how things had deteriorated. I always come away feeling that I am a nuisance. I want the doctors to be reminded that we all contribte to the NHS and that if they don't like dealing with people and see them as a hindurance to their working day then they are in the wrong profession. I work for a private health company and am proud of the way my GP;s treat their patients and CARE. In the last 2 years I have visited the doctors more than usual about 4 times approx. and because of the way if have been treated I am seriously thinking of changing my surgeory. There is also a receptionist that has been there for a very long time who also has the worst attitude to patients I have ever seen. Although I see new staff are now in place and they are really pleasant. A bit of compassion and respect goes a long way and staff at this surgery need to access and re train on how to deal with patients. I will also be writing to the BMA about this surgery as I am really upset at how myself and patients are treated."
