"Whilst in the surgery two weeks ago, the Nurse Practitioner and the receptionist made an appointment with the nurse at 5:15pm and also the doctor at 5:30pm. I arrived early and had my appointment with the nurse. However there was no appointment with the doctor. I did recall a missed telephone call, but no message was left.
There was no record of my appointment with the Nurse Practioner at the surgery.

I was informed by the receptionist that there were no pre-bookable appointments before my medication was finished. This was a one-month trial. The receptionist commented that I was given this medication in September last year. However I did not start this until the Nurse Practitoner suggested I do try after discussing more symptoms, when I had my last (unrecorded) appointment with her.
I was then informed by the receptionist to phone back at 8am one morning. Everyone is phoning to try to get a doctors appointment for that day and by the time you get through there are no appointments left.
I hardly ever even try to book a doctors appointment, because it is so stressful. I book to see the Nurse Practitioner or go to a drop in centre. Even when a doctors appointment was made whilst I was in the surgery and two weeks in advance, it still didn't happen."
