"I think that this surgery could improve the services it provides to patients by having a Registered Chiropodist or Podiatrist on the premises.
We had heard rumours that the other foot care person was leaving and were looking forward to being able to see a Chiropodist, locally, as the nearest one is in Kirton. Unfortunately, we now have yet another non-chiropodist doing footcare.
Those of us that have Health Insurance can't get our fees refunded as these practitioners' qualifications are not recognised by the insurers.
So really it's cheaper for us to go to travel to Kirton where we can get a receipt that will be honoured.
Maybe the surgery could look at engaging a Registered Chiropodist next time?"
