"I find contact with this GP Practice most unsatisfactory. I have just had to wait over 20 minutes to get through on the telephone to a receptionist who was obviously fed up already by 10.40 . The website does not provide information about the walk-in blood test clinic - and I was informed that this is because the clinic is part of the Health Centre - not the GP practice - and the tone of voice used by the receptionist suggested I should have know this already. How?
Whenever I try to get an appointment with the only GP who is familiar with my relatively complex medical (cardiac) condition, it is often not possible as the diary is not available, because he is booked up so far in advance.
An immediate appointment for current illness (fortunately a less than annual need in my case) is virtually impossible unless I am one of the lucky few who get through on the dot of 08.00 every morning."
